“Do you spend more time telling God how big your problems are or telling your problems how big your God is?” – Jason Meyer
A simple choice with massive life changing ramifications! Praising God shifts the chemistry balance in our brain. Praise hightens our level of awareness with each infusion of expectations that those positive thoughts bring with them.
Many years ago, it was praise that played a major role in keeping me strong, optimistic, and emotionally healthy during one of the darkest times of my life.
Praise is a powerful weapon in the arsenal of the believer. Praising God for who He is, what He’s done and still doing, causes waves of encouragement to flood your soul in the midst of your difficult circumstances.
Praising Him for all He’s done and yet to do will guard your mind from negativity. Why not call on all creation to join you in exalting Him? King David did!
David understood the blessings and power of praise and sang God’s praises seven times a day! He writes, “Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous laws. Great peace, have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.” Psalm 119:64-65
So, whatever your situation, positive or negative, praise the Lord with all that is within you! You’ll be glad you did! – JSP
