Posted by Many envision a better world imagining what it would be like. God had already envisioned that very thing back in Genesis 1.
Providing all of us with the freedom of choice, God ensures that love will always come from the desires of the heart.
Even in our fallen world, God hasn’t changed his mind. His love is imparted to all who believe and receive Christ.
It is only with the impartation of Christ’s love through His Holy Spirit that we can see the better world God desires.
Paul writes, “Let each of you look out not only for his own interests but also for the interests of others.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus…” (Philippians 2:4-5). This stirs God’s desire for that better world in us. Causing us to pray for that transformation with God’s desires on our hearts.
E.M. Bounds wrote, “Talking to men for God is a great thing, but talking to God for men is greater still. He will never talk well and with real success to men for God who has not learned well how to talk to God for men.” (1)
Continual exposure to the Presence of God will revive any individual, family, and Church. Making prayer and God’s purpose our priority will no doubt unleash the power of His wisdom, mercy, and grace through His people who continue to pray and serve for the welfare of our cities.
“Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Such an astounding truth that we’ve been invited to partner with the Almighty for Kingdom business. Bringing the powerful desires of His heart into the earth by requesting them for God’s much needed blessings in a troubled world. -JSP
