Almighty Father in heaven, you are the God of all creation, May Your Name be revered in all the earth.

Be pleased to hear my prayer on this first morning of 2022.

Thank you for the gift of this new day, for your mercies which are new each morning, and for the blessings and provisions of the past year.

May Your Kingdom influence continue its advance to transform society and bless the nations, may Your will be done in our generation as you have purposed it in heaven.

Grant forgiveness for our nation’s sins, and we take responsibility for our thoughts, words and actions, turning away from all that offends You.

Grant us wisdom to learn from our failings and grace to better serve you for your glory in the year ahead.

May Your blessings rest upon our families, relatives, and friends, with good health and reasonable prosperity for You are the source of all benefits.

By Your abundant grace may You bring our leaders to a greater knowledge of Your truth, and grant them grace to be at peace with You.

Be merciful even to our enemies, give wisdom in our dealings with them, for in many ways we are no better than they.

Be pleased to bless and to protect our nation with peace, prosperity, and a renewed reverence for You.

Grant our elected officials the much needed wisdom and self-restraint to govern this nation for the good of the people and for future generations.

May You bless our armed forces with protection, wisdom and guidance in this year ahead.

Grant wisdom and protection to law enforcement and May You grant us peace and order within our boarders.

Thank you for your many blessings often go unnoticed, and in Your great mercy, may Your blessings fall upon us and overwhelm us in Your love.

Grant that we as a nation would be wiser stewards of all You’ve given us, and may Your Church live aligned with the Scriptures at a higher degree of integrity, gratitude, holiness and faith in this year ahead.

Thank you for attending to my prayer and bestowing the answers as you deem best for our good.

For yours alone is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, Amen
