Chart Your Course for the Year Ahead
Solomon says, “Let your eyes look directly ahead and your gaze be fixed before you. Watch the path of your feet And all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; Keep your foot from evil.” Prov. 4:25-27
Being more intentional each year requires a new commitment to encountering God’s Presence through His word, quality time together with Him talking everything over, and waiting on Him for directions and insight. Keep Proverbs 16:9 in mind; “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.”
Recall David’s words; “Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” – Psalm 5:2-3 so, prayerfully think through your plans for the year ahead.
Experience The Power of Church
In Psalm 26:8 David says, ” LORD, I love the house where you live, the place where your glory dwells,” again in Psalm 122:1, “I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
Experiencing the power of Church is two fold, our private working out our salvation with God and our public commitment to our local Church family ( see Ephesians 4:1-32). God and His Church must be the centerpiece of any international planning on our part if we hope to move forward in family, business, Ministries, all of these depend on our growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Therefore, commit to waiting on God, practicing His Presence, meditating and practicing His Word this coming year. Submit your plans to Him and follow His directions, and Be Encouraged!
