David found peace, safety, joy, wisdom, knowledge and the best of life with continual pleasures in God’s Presence.
The greatest lesson we will ever learn is to find our rest in God’s Presence together. Imagine the positive influence the Church will have living and speaking from what we hear the Spirit saying.
Our minds begin to grow calm and our hearts become relaxed in God’s Presence. Living under the shadow of His wings we find our rest. Jesus says his Presence is the place of intimacy, fruitfulness and answered prayers., on that we can rest.
“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” (John 15:7-8)
Our fruitfulness and quality of life and the value we add to others comes from the quality of our consciously living connected to Jesus.
It is for these reasons that the growing awareness of God’s abiding Presence is the reality I chose to live from. -JSP
