When the Light Shines in Your Heart.

David writes in Psalm 119:130, “The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple,” he understood the power of God’s word revealed.

Peter understanding the same thing as David writes in 1 Peter 1:19, We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts”

When Christ, the bright morning star rises in your heart, redemption comes to you, if you continue seeking God for more light (understanding) his purpose for redeeming you begins to dawn on you.

Hearing God speak to you through the Scriptures will illuminate your mind, fill your heart with faith and open your understanding to His intention behind the passage you’re prayerfully thinking through.

God’s word revealed sharpens your mind, strengthens your soul, and transforms your character when you take the time to prayerfully consider what he’s saying to you and practice it.

Grasping the intention of the biblical writers who were inspired to write what they did, allows you to gain entry into the very intentions of God’s heart on the matter.

Your faith will grow as the Holy Spirit unfolds God’s purpose for you. The supernatural realm of God’s truth awakens you to the purpose he’s prepared for you before he created the world (see Ephesians 2:10).

Seek God intentionally, prayerfully study His Word purposely, Be eager to hear what his Spirit is saying to you, live by his guidance, become more productive for his glory, and Be Encouraged. -JSP
