We thank you for this Memorial Day – a day of remembrance.
When we call to mind all the brave men and women throughout the years who have served our country and have made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we now enjoy; may we be humbly grateful and not so easily take them for granted.
May your comfort, your strength, and your provisions continue to be poured out upon the families of those brave military personnel who have given their lives for this country they served so valiantly and may their memory be forever blessed.
Thank you, Father, that by your Sovereign choosing and your great mercy, we continue to have the privilege of celebrating in great measure the Liberty that you have granted us from the founding of this great nation.
We do ask for your continued protection and guidance for all our military personnel who are currently serving our Country, and please grant them a safe return to their families when their service has been completed.
Finally Father, May you grant us a revival of those godly principles that have brought us such amazing favor and wisdom to guide us in the building of this great Nation we call home.
To you, Almighty God and Heavenly Father be all the glory and honor forever and ever, Amen. -JSP
