Posted by Almighty God, I give you thanks today, for you alone are our refuge and strength, and an ever present help in times of trouble.
Thank you for all those troops who have served our great Nation in times of war as well as in times of peace, in all branches of the armed forces. Be pleased to bless their families, especially those families whose loved ones have given their lives in the call of duty. May the memories of those fallen in battle be forever blessed, and may the blessings of your great mercy and compassion rest upon the families they’ve left behind.
Be pleased to pour out your blessing upon those who are currently serving our country. Please protect them and guide them, assign your Holy Angels to stand guard over them. May they be at rest in the quiet times and demonstrate courage and valor in times of danger. Grant all those who have been wounded courage, determination and hope for full recovery, both physical and emotional. May You guide our troops safely home again once their tours of duty have been completed.
Father, hasten that day when all wars will cease upon the earth, and the Prince of peace rules and reigns with justice and truth. May the families of all the earth come to you, and on that day; may the nations bow before you. May they no longer desire war, and may there be forever, peace on earth and good will to all who love you and long for that day.
I pray this in the powerful name of your son our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns as King of kings and Lord of lords, both now and forever. Amen -JSP
